Take command of your next adventure on and off-road with ALLGRIP PRO. When the going gets tough, two 4WD modes ensure you have all the traction you need, no matter the terrain. On paved roads like freeways and city streets, switch to 2WD for a quieter, more comfortable and fuel-efficient ride.
OFF-ROAD FEATURES
Jimny's rigid body design provides excellent ground clearance for the extra fun parts of your journey. Hill Hold Control and Hill Descent Control keep Jimny grounded when navigating steep slopes, while Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control improve stability in slippery situations.
Part-time 4WD system
ALLGRIP PRO provides extra capability when you need it. The part time 4WD system allows you to switch between 2WD and 4WD to suit the driving conditions. In 4WD mode, power is distributed to all four wheels evenly.
Hill Hold Control
Keep moving onwards and upwards with Hill Hold Control. It prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards on steep and bumpy slopes, so you can concentrate on your ascent.
Hill Descent Control
Manoeuvre tricky descents confidently. Hill Descent Control automatically applies the brakes to maintain a fixed speed so that you can focus on steering.
Extra ground clearance
Just like a mountain goat, Jimny can navigate steep slopes, sharp descents and large obstacles without a scrape, thanks to its generous body angles and high ground clearance.

Jimny is designed for wild adventures. Slanted bumper edges give the wheels more room to navigate obstacles while protecting the body, and the optimised bonnet design keeps front corners in view.
Take pride in the Jimny’s heritage, symbolised by its iconic round headlamps. Washers allow confident driving in mud, dirt, and snow. The Jimny Lite features halogen headlights, and both models come with dusk sensors.
The Jimny features a ladder frame that offers a solid foundation for serious off-road performance, with full-width rigid axles in both the front and rear, which help the Jimny ensure superior grip on diverse surfaces. When an obstacle pushes one wheel up, the axle presses the other wheel down to increase tyre contact in rough road conditions.
